We are pleased to announce that we have completed the first result of the AISS project: a compendium that brings together 16 advanced practices in the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in teaching. This resource is now available in English and the various languages of our collaborating countries and can be accessed through the project website.
The compendium not only serves as a teaching tool for educators looking to implement AI-based solutions in their classrooms, but also provides a comprehensive view of best practices in higher education. Through this document, educators will be able to:
- Identify AI tools that support both traditional and distance learning.
- Choose the right tools based on specific educational situations.
- Understand the principles for effectively working with AI tools.
- Address and manage the threats associated with the use of AI in the classroom.
- Adapt lessons to the needs and predispositions of students.
- Apply ethical guidelines in the use of AI tools.
- Enhance the appeal of educational materials through innovative multimedia technologies.
The compendium will aid in improving teaching competencies and developing a more interactive and personalized learning experience. We invite all educators and higher education students to explore this resource and make the most of the opportunities that AI offers in the educational field.
